At Brighter Living, we have always made it our goal to give people the support they need to live their best lives. That’s why we work with families, professionals and individuals to put tailored support plans in place that help people get back into the community and regain a sense of independence and self-esteem.
With the right support in place, Transforming Care can reduce the number of inpatient admissions to secure hospital settings and institutions. We know that the right support can transform lives. But we also know that needs can change, so we continually monitor the level of support we offer. Whether that means increasing staffing levels or reducing support, we always provide flexible support that is bespoke to the individual.
As a company, we fully embrace the PBS approach, which means understanding behaviour rather than reacting to behaviour. At Brighter Living, we are fortunate that we have an in-house PBSP (Positive Behavioural Support Practitioner) who can offer specialist positive behavioural support. By understanding and addressing the reasons behind different behaviours, we can support people to overcome certain challenges, helping them to improve their quality of life.
